They are easy to find, cheap, and fast. What isn't to love about them?! I found this beauty while standing in line at my local thrift store. I paid roughly $10 for it with a coupon the nice lady in front of me donated to my cause. So great! Please excuse my picture taking skills. I realize they're off center or whatever. Just pretend like you don't notice!

Aaand the color of choice?! Yellow. I used Sun Yellow by Krylon in gloss. I picked it out late at night...and a boy helped me choose. I don't know why, but picking colors is the hardest thing ever! It's probably because I don't plan to keep most of the things I paint and somebody else might not like it. That's no reason to have somebody practically hold my hand while I choose though! I just have to calmly tell myself that a can of spray paint is about $3 and I can start over if I have to. It's very grown up of me :).

Glazing stuff is lovely. It hides all your painting mistakes (because yes, I'm not that careful all the time), it makes your super bright yellow mirror a little less shocking, and it also makes the detail stand out beautifully. Glazing is my bff. I'm not a big tutorial-making person, but this lady is all about it and you can see her glazing tutorial here. Keep in mind she is well practiced...and she makes my stuff look like a 10 year old did it. I promise, I really did try my best!

If I had a yellow and gray bedroom, I would totally keep this thing! But I have no place for it...and it doesn't match a single thing in my house. Who chose yellow again?! Haha I'm selling it for $45 if anybody in the Salt Lake area would like to take it off my hands.

Huli, this really isn't as bad as I was imagining it. I am really liking yellow/white/gray mixtures these days so I really do like this mirror!
